Lumiar Technologies ($LAZR) is the Worst of the Worst. The Lidar innovator lost -14.95% following its Q3 earnings report.

The company missed earnings estimates and reduced guidance. Lumiar is down -86% since its December 2020 SPAC.

Vertex ($VERX) is the Best of the Best. The tax compliance software provider popped +21.03% and closed at its highest price since March 2021.

Vertex reported Q3 earnings before today’s session. The company beat estimates and raised guidance.

John Schwab, Chief Financial Officer commented, “Throughout the first nine months of 2023, we have consistently exceeded our financial expectations… We are once again increasing our full-year guidance for both revenue and Adjusted EBITDA to reflect the strong year-to-date financial results.”
